The Kauri 2000 Trust would like to record its thanks to all those who have supported us so generously since we took the first steps towards our dream of recreating the kauri forests of the Coromandel.

We particularly acknowledge our special relationship with the Department of Conservation, whose ongoing support and encouragement has been such an important factor in our work.

Along with the thousands of New Zealanders and friends from overseas who have supported us with their donations, we would especially like to record our appreciation of the following:

	The Bank of New Zealand The BNZ is planting 100 kauri seedlings for every Kauri bond issue it arranges as well as contributing to their ongoing maintenance. The BNZ Kauri Forest is expected to grow at the rate of 1,000 trees per year. BNZ staff are enthusiastic about the sponsorship and are joining us in planting the seedlings.
	SupplyITT SupplyIT is running a recycling and replanting programme for its clients. "The aim is to help our clients run a carbon neutral office by recycling toners and cartridges used in printers and copiers, and the planting programme through Kauri 2000 will offset their greenhouse gas emissions. This will eventually amount to hundreds of trees planted annually," says manager Tim Giles.
	NZI NZI is a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited and the largest general insurer in New Zealand and a leading provider of commercial insurances. It supports Kauri 2000 Trust through its Sustainability programme.
	Richardsons When you buy or sell a property on the Coromandel Peninsula through Richardsons you will be helping to reforest the Coromandel with kauri trees. Each client of Richardsons receives a Kauri 2000 gift certificate and a kauri is planted on their behalf.
	Coastal Campers Coastal Campers Lrd, Whitianga, has pledged to make a contribution towards offsetting the company's - and their travellers' - carbon footprint by donation a kauri tree for every 10 rentals taken.
